JEFFREY EISENBERGNational Ad Sales Director
Jeff Eisenberg is a seasoned entrepreneur with over twenty five years of experience in advertising and publishing. Mr. Eisenberg founded the Eisenberg Communications Group (ECG) in 1990, specializing in providing sales and support for publishers while building one of the first independent advertising sales forces for the interactive and entertainment markets. Between 1990 and 1996, Eisenberg oversaw all ad sales for Electronic Gaming Monthly and its related spin-off publications and websites. Eisenberg applied these talents to his next venture by quickly developing an impressive array of well known brands in publishing and other areas including EMAP/Petersen Publishing (Motor Trend Magazine), Meredith Publishing (Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies Home Journal), National Enquirer, and Idealab (goto.com, citysearch.com) among others. In the late nineties Eisenberg partnered with Ryan Steelberg to co-found 2CAN Media, an internet advertising sales and marketing network and within eight months had grown to a staff of over 150 employees. 2CAN’s success attracted the attention of CMGI which acquired the company for a substantial profit in early 1999 and merged it into CMGI’s Adsmart Network. Mr. Eisenberg subsequently served on the Board of Directors and as VP of Business Development for Adsmart where he expanded that company’s client base and oversaw growth that resulted in Adsmart becoming the second largest Internet advertising sales network in the world.
